host-side volume

Any virtual volume that the RealTime server exports to the SAN where it is available to SAN hosts. A SAN host accesses these volumes which are, in turn, associated with the array-side volumes within the RealTime server’s dedicated storage. There are two kinds of host-side volumes: TimeSafe volumes and TimeImage volumes.
