RAID-5 Logging

A type of logging that ensures prompt recovery of a RAID-5 volume after a system crash. With RAID-5 logging, updates need to be made only to the data and parity portions of the volume that were in transit during the system crash. Thus, the entire volume does not have to be resynchronized. A log can be created when a volume is created, or it can be added later.
