The process of copying backed up data selections from one storage pool to another storage pool.

The one-way transfer of data between Notification Server and any other managed computer, including another Notification Server.

The process of duplicating data from one database to another.

In Symantec Brightmail Gateway, the process of duplicating configuration data from the Control Center to Scanners.

The synchronization of data between systems where shared storage is not feasible. The systems that are copied may be in local backup clusters or remote failover sites. The major advantage of replication, when compared to traditional backup methods, is that current data is continuously available.

The process of creating a copy of the data on the Primary node to the Secondary node by using a specific procedure.
